The sound of LSV Trio is the result of three unique voices conversing over a shared passion for classical chamber music, jazz, and the need to groove. The three-piece ensemble highlights the individual character of each member while delivering tightly-knit performances featuring original material and occasional arrangements ranging from jazz standards to Bastardisation of recent releases from chart-topping pop artists. LSV features an unusual formation, comprised of cellist Jordi Lara, percussion-vocoder/synth player Paul Stevens, and keyboard/synth-commander Matt Vu. The skills and tools these musicians bring together allows the ensemble to casually pass melodic and harmonic roles to each other mid-song, creating a constantly evolving – and limitless – soundscape. LSV Trio has performed and recorded in the Metro-Atlanta area since 2024, making their studio debut that same year with their three-track EP.
