MANAS is an Asheville-based experimental duo led by Tashi Dorji (Drag City) exploring  improvisation through electric guitar and drums. Their music shifts between sparse textures and explosive energy, driven by deep listening and spontaneous interplay. Rooted in the city’s underground scene, they create immersive performances that dissolve boundaries between noise, rhythm, and form.

Based in Berlin, Audrey Chen is a Taiwanese-American vocalist, cellist, and composer working at the intersection of improvisation, noise, and performance art. Using extended vocal techniques and electronics, she creates visceral, shape-shifting sound worlds, collaborating widely across experimental music, dance, and interdisciplinary contexts.
