Nyumbani means home. This is where we come to truly listen. An immersive music series celebrating the sounds of the African continent and diaspora — from Rhumba and Lingala in Central Africa to Afrobeats and Highlife in the West, from Bongo Flava in the East to Amapiano in the South. Deep listening with room to move. Think of it as the space between a party and a lecture — deep listening with room to dance, to feel, to connect with fellow music lovers who understand that these sounds carry history, identity, and home.

Ten years on, we're putting 2016 back on the speakers - Lagos, Accra, Dar, Jo'burg, Kingston, Port of Spain, Berlin. The whole map. The year Afrobeats went global, gqom broke out of Durban, dancehall ran every cookout, and the Afro-house producers in Soweto and Berlin finally found each other.
