DJ Itoching will be playing music by the Japanese dance music orchestra A Hundred Birds Orchestra (AHBO), formed in 1996 in Osaka Japan, alongside the Disco and House classics that inspired their sound, including many of AHBO's celebrated reinterpretations and cover versions. Celebrating their 30th anniversary this year, AHBO has been a major influence on Itoching since he was 20 years old. As a longtime supporter of both the orchestra and AHB Production, he chose this theme as a way to share the richness of Japanese dance music culture with the ATL community before his return to Japan. Evoking the spirit of legendary ensembles such as Salsoul Orchestra and MFSB, this set will explore the world of orchestral dance music—uplifting, soulful, and deeply grooving. Expect an evening of soulful orchestral grooves, timeless Disco classics, and deep House influences.
